-
- Overview:
-
- The idea behind this package is to give the CLI oriented Amiga user a set
- of tools for manipulating various IFF picture files. This release supports
- all formats and resolutions except for HAM mode. Some of the things that
- this package allows you to do are to:
-
- - do some "kernel" based image processing (like the BYTE March 1987
- article)
- - reduce the size of a picture in an antialiased fashion.
- - reduce the number of colours (bit planes) in a picture.
- - change the colour palette of a picture, with minimum effect
- on the appearance of the picture
- - convert a WorkBench icon into IFF picture files (brushes).
-
- By combining the tools in this package you can easily make custom icons
- for picture files, where the icons are miniture versions of the pictures!
-
- Anyway, have fun and produce lots
- of neat new icons for the Amiga!
